A NAME WITH ROOTS HERE
Before the lanes,
there was Main Street.
For the Shean family, Woodward has always been about the people. Orralee and Paul Shean carried her family’s hardware business from Arnett to Woodward in 1956. Ken came home in 1974 to help carry it forward.
There were birthday parties for employees. Christmas dinners at Ken and Carol’s house. And neighbors who became part of the family.
Ken and Carol built the bowling building, too—a piece of family history shared by their son Karl. Shean’s Woodward Lanes takes its name from those roots, and that same belief: good company makes a place.
